The AP degree in Financial Management is a full-time 2-year undergraduate degree programme developed and delivered in close cooperation with the finance and business sectors. Through a combination of rigorous academic study with a strong practical/applied element, this programme provides an excellent preparation for employment or further study at bachelor or masters level.

The programme is composed of 7 compulsory subjects, a selection of elective modules and company internship/dissertation that provide the opportunity to specialise in a particular area.
The programme is divided into 4 semesters.

Course structure
The course is divided into four semesters. During the first three semesters you work on the compulsory subjects and gain a solid academic foundation within the subjects areas of Corporate Economics, Private Economics, Finance, Global Economics, Business Law, Marketing, Management, Organisation, Communication, Business English, Statistics, Methods, and, in addition, we ensure that you master – or at least gain knowledge of – the basic software used in business.
In your fourth semester you complete the course with an elective subject, a company internship and a dissertation project.
You choose from a selection of elective subjects, which gives you the opportunity to specialise within one or more of your areas of interest.
You will also have some special modules in Economics. These modules are will qualify you to work in areas other than the specific financial sector, e.g. in an economics department in a production company.
After this you have a company internship in Denmark or another country and the dissertation which takes its starting point from an assignment related to a finance company or finance department in a private or public company.
You finish the course with a dissertation project which takes its starting point from a set assignment. The assignment is prepared for a financial company or for a financial department in a private or public company. The dissertation problem takes its starting point from the course's core subjects, pathways and elective subjects
