International BA (EBM)
EBM – European Business Management
…is an exclusive programme taught in English enabling you to complete a three-year bachelor degree – and in some cases a double degree - in three different countries and possibly at lower cost than studying in just one country.
You can choose to join the EBM in Year One at the IBA, or you can choose Spain and still come to IBA in Year Three. There are other combinations possible and these can be found on the EBM web site but every student will study in three different countries.
Language of instruction
All three years are taught in English. Depending on the exact choice of countries, other languages may be taken. There are special arrangements for students from Belgium wishing to obtain a double degree.
Why study in three countries?
-
personal development
-
add value to your profile
-
improve language/communication skills
-
enhance profile for future employment/career
-
demonstrate willingness to innovate and take initiative
-
networking and friendship
How does it work?
You are registered at the individual school you are attending in each year of study. On successful completion of each year of study you automatically progress to the next school in another country.
Status and Support
In each of the three schools you are a full-time student and therefore entitled to all the facilities and support provided for all full-time students.
During years 1 and 2 you have contact with the next school you will be attending including information on accommodation and study options. In year 3 you receive advice regarding further study for those seeking a masters degree.
Degree Award
All students successfully completing the EBM programme will be awarded a bachelor degree. The precise title depends on the third year choice of school. In some cases, a double degree is possible.
Tuition Fees
Fees vary between different schools but if you are a EU citizen and choose IBA in one of the three years you will pay
no tuition fee, and the fee at KHLeuven in Belgium is just €600. Students choosing the Spanish entry route (see EBM web site) are eligible to take the
Double Degree option at IBA in Year Three.
