Shopping in Kolding
Kolding City offers a great number of shops in the pedistrian streets (including supermarkets) but Kolding also offers a very big shopping center Kolding Storcenter with more than 120 shops as well as a big supermarket.
Netto, Fakta, Aldi, Lidl, Liva, Føtex and Bilka are well known supermarkets in Kolding and they all have a wide range of convenience goods at fair prices (Føtex and Bilka also sell chlothing, kitchen utensils mobile phones etc.)
When you arrive in Denmark the first thing you need to get is probably furniture for the appartment.
You can buy second hand furniture and kitchen utensils at IGEN or Red Cross. You can also buy furniture as well as beds, duvets, pillows, sheets, towels etc. at fair prices at Jysk (next to Kolding Storcenter).
